Academic New Year's Resolution
It is quite easy this year: I want to finish my thesis, and defend it successfully. Besides that, I want to have a much closer look at optimization algorithms and Bayesian statistics on the methological side, and on the practical side at frameworks for parallel and/or distributed computing like Hadoop, Parallel Extensions for .NET, or general-purpose computing on GPUs. Sounds like a plan ;-)
